Service
Service to our community is an integral part of my daily commitment to RIT. As a teacher I serve my students in and out of the classroom because community and learning are all around us. Since I began teaching at RIT I have always looked for, created, and sustained opportunities to serve our community; I constantly strive to bring new experiences, opportunities, and learning to all members of the RIT community.
Much of the work I do is in the area of service. My actions directly and positively influence students and the work that they do. I give of my time to make sure my students and colleagues are able to receive important information and/or participate in exceptional learning opportunities so they can launch themselves to the next level and make changes in their lives that will last a lifetime.
